Responsibilities:

• Perform inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on trailers to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Execute preventive maintenance and address mechanical issues proactively.
• Replace or repair components such as brakes, suspension systems, electrical wiring, and tires.
• Maintain detailed service records and report necessary repairs or part replacements.
• Collaborate with fleet management to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.
• Ensure all work adheres to company safety standards and industry guidelines.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and follow technical manuals for troubleshooting and repairs.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in trailer maintenance and repair.
• Technical certification or vocational training in diesel mechanics or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to interpret schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to maintenance procedures.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
